Noah and his Prophetic Fulfillment 1
By Rev Robert Ampiah-Kwofi
Noah’s Ark floated above the floodwaters, and remained sealed.
No water could enter it.
Genesis 7:18 NKJV
“The waters prevailed and greatly increased on the earth, and the ark moved about on the surface of the waters.”
The Flood brought an unprecedented amount of water on the land area of the earth.
Genesis 7:19 NKJV
“And the waters prevailed exceedingly on the earth, and all the high hills under the whole heaven were covered.”
There simply was nowhere to hide.
Every living thing died.
Genesis 7:21 NKJV
“And all flesh died that moved on the earth: birds and cattle and beasts and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man.”
Only the Ark was able to protect and deliver from the Flood.
Every other protection proved to be a fiasco.
John 14:6 NKJV
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
The waters continued to swirl on the land for five months.
Genesis 7:24 NKJV
“And the waters prevailed on the earth one hundred and fifty days.”
It took 40 days of nonstop rain for the Flood to reach its peak.
The floodwaters continued to dominate the earth for a further 150 days.
Noah had been in the Ark for at least 190 days.
God had to deliver Noah and the animals from the Ark.
Genesis 8:1 NIV
“But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded.”
God’s wind began to take away the water.
It still took almost a year before even the mountain tops became visible.
Genesis 8:5 NKJV
“The waters continued to recede until the tenth month, and on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains became visible.”
Noah was being restored to his life on the earth.
May you receive total restoration.
You will not fear and you will not retreat.
Go forward as a great achiever, in Jesus’ name.
