Morning Message of Motivation

Notable Sacrifices: 26
Rev. Robert Ampiah-Kwofi

Christ’s sacrifice is unique because it wasn’t offered by human beings to God. God rather gave His life as a ransom for many.
Mark 10:45 NKJV
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

All earthly sacrifices are offered the way they are. Christ however had to change to become an appropriate sacrifice. Christ had to become fully human, yet fully God. He became human to be able to represent mankind.
1 Corinthians 15:45 NKJV
“And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.”

Christ is described as the “Last Adam.” Both Adam and Christ, represented the entire human race. Their actions affected all mankind.
Christ didn’t come to help angels.
Hebrews 2:16 NKJV
“For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham’s descendants.”

He came to redeem mankind.
Hebrews 2:17 NKJV
“For this reason he had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.”

The first Adam sold mankind into slavery to sin and Satan, but Christ the “last Adam” brought deliverance for mankind.
Romans 5:17
For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.

Christ’s sacrifice ended the need for all the other sacrifices for sin.
May God’s grace and peace be abundant in your life. May you reign victoriously in life, in Jesus’ name.
