Morning Message of Motivation

Trophies of Grace: 12
Rev Robert Ampiah-Kwofi

Saul’s early ministry brought both amazement and persecution. There was no shyness in Saul. He did not hesitate or tread cautiously. He was not worried about what people would think about his turnaround.
Acts 9:20-21 NKJV
“Immediately he preached the Christ in the synagogues, that He is the Son of God.
Then all who heard were amazed, and said, “Is this not he who destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem, and has come here for that purpose, so that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?”

Saul however, was absolutely focused on his new found mission in Christ. The same zeal he applied in persecuting the Believers, he now turned to preach the gospel.
Acts 9:22 NKJV
“But Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this Jesus is the Christ.”

Persecution made him stronger. People accused him of betraying his fellow Pharisees and the religious establishment, but he was not moved. Soon he attracted major enemies.
Acts 9:23 NKJV
“Now after many days were past, the Jews plotted to kill him.”

The former persecutor was now facing serious persecution. The religious establishment was now plotting to kill Saul but he had some friends who gave him a tip off.
Acts 9:24 NKJV
“But their plot became known to Saul. And they watched the gates day and night, to kill him.”

Saul knew the plans of the enemy and avoided their traps.
May God empower you to escape all the tricks and snares of the enemy. May the Lord give you advance knowledge of all Satan’s plots. You will escape every pit, in Jesus’ name.
